01 — The decision

Before You Replace Your Roof, See If It Can Be Rejuvenated.

Asphalt shingles age from the inside out. Sun, heat, and weather gradually draw out the oils that keep the shingle mat flexible, so shingles look worn long before the roof deck has a problem. Rejuvenation treats those shingles directly.

Roof Replacement

  • —Full tear-off and disposal
  • —Weeks of planning
  • —Days of noise, debris, disruption
  • —Thousands of dollars

Typical in this market
$15,000 – $30,000

Roof Rejuvenation

  • ✓One-day service, no tear-off
  • ✓Helps restore aging shingles
  • ✓Extends useful roof life
  • ✓Backed by a 5-year transferable warranty

Rejuvenation range
$2,000 – $3,500

Ranges are market estimates. Costs and timelines vary by roof size, condition, and market — both are confirmed in writing after the assessment.

Signs to look for

Shingles dry out years before they wear out.

Most rejuvenation candidates sit at 15–20 years: shingles feel dry and stiff, edges curl slightly, granule loss is obvious — and the deck underneath is usually still sound.

Granule loss and bald spots

The shingle's UV armor washing into your gutters. Once the asphalt is exposed, aging accelerates.

Stiff, dry, curling edges

A dried-out shingle can no longer flex with the daily heat cycle, so it lifts at the edges and splits.

Dark organic staining

Common on Florida's north slopes. Often cosmetic, but it usually travels with real shingle aging.

An "aged roof" note at renewal

Florida carriers increasingly surcharge or decline to renew older roofs. Documented maintenance is what they want to see.

The process

Four steps, one day.

Surface preparation comes before the treatment: debris cleared, valleys and gutters flushed, loose ridge caps and fasteners addressed — then the soy-based treatment goes on evenly across the shingle field.

  • ✓Free on-site assessment with photo documentation
  • ✓Surface prep: debris, valleys, gutters, loose fasteners
  • ✓Soy-based bio-oil treatment sprayed across the shingle field
  • ✓Landscaping and hardscape protected throughout
  • ✓Walkthrough, cleanup confirmation, and documentation
  • ✓5-year transferable warranty paperwork in hand

Proof of work

What a treated roof looks like.

Palm Coast, FL — architectural asphalt shingle, 2,850 sq ft, 19 years old, completed Spring 2026. Granule loss and heavy organic staining across the north slopes. Deck and flashing were sound, so the homeowner chose rejuvenation over a full tear-off.

Treated in a single day.

Straight answers

Everything homeowners ask first.

What exactly is roof rejuvenation?+

It's a bio-based treatment sprayed onto asphalt shingles that restores the oils they lose to UV and heat over time. Those oils are what keep a shingle flexible; once they're gone, the shingle dries, stiffens, and starts shedding granules. Rejuvenation puts flexibility back into a shingle that is aging but still structurally sound.

What happens at the assessment?+

A technician climbs the roof, documents shingle condition, flashing, and deck, and photographs what we find. You get the photos and a written recommendation — treat, repair, or replace. Nothing is applied that day.

Is my roof a good candidate?+

Asphalt shingle roofs that are dry but structurally sound — typically 15 to 20 years old, with granule loss and slight curling but no failed deck or flashing. The assessment is how we know for certain.

How long does the treatment take?+

Most homes are finished in a single visit. No dumpsters in the driveway, no nail sweep, no week of noise.

Will it hurt my landscaping or pets?+

The treatment is plant-based and applied by trained crews who protect landscaping and hardscape throughout the visit.

Do I need to be home?+

Yes — please book a time when you'll be home. We walk you through the photos and the recommendation in person, and answer your questions on the spot.

Your roof may not need replacing yet.
